Bountiful Philharmonia is a regional orchestra of highly-skilled musicians.

We perform music from the standard orchestral repertoire of both classical and contemporary music.

Musicians are expected to learn the music independently and put concerts together in a limited number of rehearsals (3-5 rehearsals per concert depending on the repertoire).  Bountiful Philharmonia is for musicians over the age of 18 (interested high school students are welcome to audition once they have completed high school).

String Audition Information

  1. Prepare the audition excerpts for your instrument: (See PDF downloads).
  2. Record an unedited video of each excerpt. Cell phone videos are encouraged.
  3. Merge the videos together into a single file in the order printed in the PDF (using Viva Video, iMovie, or other video editor).
  4. Label the video with name, instrument, and date.
  5. Upload the video to YouTube, Google Drive, or any other file sharing format accessible via link.  
  6. **Please verify that the link can be viewed by others (not private).
